load development

In developing this load, we achieved adequate accuracy with the shorter barreled M91 Calvary Carbine out to 200 yards. This load boasts a significant increase in accuracy for the Carcano rifle, compared to the .264 projectile.

Word of warning

Ensure your Carcano is safe to fire. We highly recommend having a competent gunsmith inspect your firearm before shooting it. Inspect each cartridge before firing, and wear appropriate safety equipment (glasses, ear protection etc.)

DO NOT ATTEMPT TO FIRE THESE CARTRIDGES IN A VETTERLI RIFLE.
